Access Scaffold Design & Engineering
The requirements for access scaffold/swingstage design and engineering in Canada are extensive and still growing! There are many circumstances in the CSA Z797 & Z271 Codes that require the services of design engineers. We can help! Our Introduction to Access Scaffold Design training program is specifically designed to teach engineers and technicians the “ins and outs” of the scaffolding industry, its products and projects.
Who should attend:
- Professional Engineers
- Engineers In Training
- Design Technicians
- Engineering Techs
- CAD Draftspersons
Advanced Scaffold Inspector Training (Pre-requisite)
Across Canada, the CSA Z797 Standard (Code of Practice for Access Scaffold) requires that certain scaffolds and scaffold features require the design of a professional engineer. These include (but not limited to):
- Hanging Scaffolds
- Large Cantilevers
- Outrigger Scaffolds
- Scaffolds rated for more than 75 PSF
- Tall Scaffolds (over 15m for non-T&C, 10m for T&C)
- Guyed Scaffolds
- And more!
This training program is designed for designated scaffold inspectors who will be responsible to read and interpret engineered drawings to inspect and approve those scaffolds on an ongoing basis.
PLEASE NOTE: This training program has a pre-requisite for training/experience to attend. Please contact us for more information.
Who should attend:
- Experienced Scaffold Erectors/Inspectors
- Previously Certified Competent Scaffold Inspectors
- Safety Regulators with Scaffold Inspection Experience
Professional Scaffolder Update Training (Pre-requisite)
The Access Scaffolding Industry has grown exponentially over the last 30 years. With that growth has seen rapid changes in standards, technology, regulation and engineering. AXS Canada offers a 2 Day Professional Scaffolder Technical Update program for experienced scaffolder to update their technical knowledge and skills. This program includes:
