AXS Canada specializes on ON-SITE and ONLINE delivery of scaffold, swingstage and other access programs. We train throughout Canada, the Caribbean and the Americas! By delivering our programs at your location – we can offer the most accurate site-specific training to suit your group, access equipment and operations. Classes are usually for groups of up to 12 (some restrictions apply) and combine both theory and practical training sessions.

The following are the training programs we currently offer:
Competent Access Scaffold Training – 2-3 Days
In accordance with the CSA Z797 Standard – all personnel who build frame, system or tube and coupler supported scaffolds must be certified. This course covers the safe setup, use, inspection, modification and dismantling of supported base scaffolds. Duration of the course depends on the number and type(s) of supported scaffolding endorsements required.

Who should attend:
Tradespersons (welders, millwrights, painters, power engineers, masons, insulators, ironworkers, etc.) who will be responsible to build, modify or dismantle supported scaffolds at their site or for beginners in the scaffolding trade.
Competent Access Scaffold Inspector Training – 2-3 Days
Across Canada, all Occupational Health and Safety Regulations as well as the CSA Z797 Standard (Code of Practice for Access Scaffold) require that ALL access scaffolds are inspected regularly.

Who should attend:
Any person who may be designated to conduct regular (or other regulatory) inspections of access scaffolds NOT REQUIRING ENGINEERING. This course is also an excellent program for Safety Officers, Managers, Supervisors to learn more about scaffolding inspection operations.
